Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and necessary tests.

  • Educate patients about their upcoming procedures, address their concerns, and provide emotional support.

  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with active registration and relevant certifications.

  • Proven experience as a Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse is preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of pre-operative procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records.
